through the woods, up and down slight hills with the sound of the birds and the frogs in my ears. with the soft ground cushioning my feet. going as fast as i please without worrying about getting too tired.
on sunday i cleared the hurts in my heart and the darkness at the edges of mind by leaving the house to slip into the woods to run.
by pushing myself just a bit to run.
by realizing it feels good to run.
