Keep writing! We are reading & appreciating :) I just made the move to a self-hosted wordpress blog and I think though it took a bit of work it was worth the trouble. Now I can play with it. I got an IT-geek friend to set up the hosting part for me and install the wordpress plugin, then I migrated the site content over & did a bunch of steps to fix the bits that didn't work, tweak it etc etc. Lots of time and lots of breaks to go look after the bub as the days passed by, but I got there in the end. I can't recommend the friend to help you with that bit unfort. but I would happily pass you on the websites I found the best help, and what steps I needed to take to string all the bits and bobs together to finally get it going. Lots more steps and issues than I had expected but I muddled my way through. a background in IT (but not web) helped with some of the jargon and stuff but mostly it was dogged persistence that got me through. I too enjoy cookies on the bad days. Though since I got pregnant and had a child for some reason ice-cream has risen in the ranks to the favoured consumable.... Hello!
