i spent the last chunk of time working on a post and when i reread it i decided it is just too terrible to put up. i always suffer from jet lag when i travel anywhere with a long flight and a time change which we did recently. we’ve been home about 3.5 days but my brain as not yet arrived. instead i feel confined to a perpetual fog in which i can bake good bread but i cannot find any flow to my writing.
perhaps i should just put the blog on vacation until the brain returns. or perhaps i should write about what we’ve been cooking since the jet lag does not seem to effect cooking ability or interest. or maybe i should just draw a jet (as per bean’s recent crayon time requests) and call it a week.
does anyone else suffer from such intense jet lag? or have a nice home remedy?
or should we all just sit in silence.

how about posting photos? they are worth a thousand words…
I know you are going to laugh at me but when I get home from a long flight, I sweep through my house like a crazy woman, cleaning everything in sight, unpacking, getting the laundry started . . . It drives my husband nuts, but when it is over, I can relax. And then I write,
That’s my trick.
Oh yeah, and sometimes I do what the witch of the west suggests. Photos. I mean, didn’t you just return from a great vacation?
